"I met up with a very close friend here. She had recently lost her pet dog and asked me if I was craving anything? She is located in down town toronto and im coming from mississauga. So, I suggested this place as it is somewhat in between and will have comfort plus whole foods. The tacos and tostadas here are amazing. As we navigated through deep and tough discussions, we munched on guacamole and chips, the chicken tacos, tamale and tortilla soup. It was just what we both needed. The food was excellent, just like I remember it when I visited many years ago when it used to be across the street (a little hole in the wall). They give extra lime to add to all the dishes, which gives it the extra zing. The hot sauces complimented the food and we enjoyed it all. I would recommend that the plain corn tamale have a corn filling inside like the others do, it would elevate the dish. Overall, highly recommend!"

"First visiting Tacos El Asador. We dropped by as it was recommended from friends, we ordered pupusas and chilaquiles. The pupusas were really good, and the chilaquiles were tasty but the consistency could have been better. The tortilla chips seems like were soaking for far too long in the salsa verde and they were mushy. Otherwise, flavour wise pretty good. This spot is a bit on the pricier end."

"The Food was proper but nothing to write about. Enjoyed my Platano maduros, the burrito was good according to my friend but my tacos need more flavour."

"Semi spacious / cozy dining area. friendly and chill. Great tacos and tamales. Very filling after four tacos. Very welcoming staff (they're lovely and wonderful if you're wondering), quick service, good atmosphere. 05/02/2025: Time and time again has Taco El Asador proven they know what they're doing. Tried the All-day breakfast platter this time (can't forget the Corona!), delicious with every bite. I highly recommend you try this out."
